The Lego Land
Sooooo, guess who got an extra special invite to Lego Land?! (Cue corny joke, I know, I know, I tried…) The Land of Legos. Yep, that's right. My friend had some extra tickets and tagged me along for the ride. It was back in April, so the weather was a little chilly, but hey, I was all about that cute-photo life.
I decided to go with a short dress and flats. I mean, it’s Lego Land—how hard could it be, right? Well… turns out it’s Lego Land Long Island, not the spa I imagined. I was shaking like a leaf with every step, trying to look cute but freezing my legs off.
The park wasn’t fully open yet, so the rides were mostly for the kiddies, which, honestly, I’m totally down for. Not that I'm afraid of crazy roller coasters or spinning rides or anything... (ahem yes I am). Give me all the gentle kiddy rides where I can actually enjoy the experience without needing a vomit bag. 🤣
But what really made me dizzy wasn’t the rides—it was the prices of the food and drinks. Like, are they selling bricks as snacks?! I’m not complaining, but... let’s just say, maybe eat before you go and bring a few bottles of water unless you want to leave with your wallet in tears.
Still, at the end of the day, I had a blast! Got all the cute photos I wanted (shoutout to my inner Instagram diva), and let’s be real, that was the main reason I went. Thanks, John and Jen, for the invite!
Whats wrong Matthew?
Thank you Gonzales family for the nice treat.
