Traveling to Samana, DR
In 2015, I traveled to Samana with my classmates for an educational tour. At that time I was taking up Conservatory Photography at the New York Film Academy.
I didn’t want to join that trip because I didn’t have a budget. And second, it was summertime in DR at that time and I’m not a fan of heat. I also don’t like hiking or trekking.
Ok! I’m no fun. I know that since day one haha.
Good thing I joined that trip because I would have missed the fun of it. My favorite part was the “me time “. Yes, ME TIME, alone time, all by myself in the room. I was able to rest and had my alone time in my room. Like I mentioned earlier I wasn’t a fan of heat so I stayed most of the time in my room if there was no school activity.
I’m a little introvert that’s why I enjoyed the me time in DR. But I still need to go out and do the assignment and explore the beauty of Samana. I walked the beach, meet the locals, experience trekking while ridding on the horse, see the waterfalls, went to the cave, to name a few.
I think if I’m an adventurous person, I would have enjoyed the nature and outdoor. But Im not, so I was little grumpy while we were on that trip. I can’t wait to be back in my room.
Here are some of the pictures. Enjoy.
