The Big Splash in Oman

My family and some friends that are ar close to me know my fear of the ocean, sea, and pool. Because I cannot swim. YES!! I  cannot swim huh!! Growing up on the Tropical Island people expect that we know how to swim or climb a tree. Most of us Filipinos were able to experience that or learn such amazing skills. But not me!

In the summer of 2014, my roommates and I decided to visit Musandam, Oman. First, it was a cheap trip, and second, it was really cheap haha. Oman is very close to Dubai, that’s why most expats like me and residence in Dubai visits Oman during the weekend.

I was excited because I haven’t been on a cruise ride for a while. I thought it was just cruising and eating. Not realizing there was also an activity that would make my heart jump.

There was a banana boat ride and jumping off the boat. Banana boat ride looks relaxingr. I was a bit nervous ate the same time excited. Until they flip the boat and threw us on the water. I thought my heart was left on air.

Then the big jump needs to be done. We have to experience jumping from the boat to the ocean. It doesn’t seem much to a few people. But for a person like me who is not mermaid is quite a challenge. Oh well, I jump anyway.

I was actually thinking of Keanu Reeves. I said if I can jump to this boat and go down below that ocean. That means I can meet Keanu Reeves (my soulmate ) and have coffee with him.

Enjoy the pictures.

Relaxing

Sunscreen anyone?

I didn’t expect that the banana boat will intentionally flip and threw us on the water.

My smile though haha

Trying to convince me that it was fun.

Tried fishing after the huge splash.

Praise God for the experience. It was indeed fun.
