Summer in Coney Island
My work is inspired by the energy and joy of Coney Island—a place where the pulse of the city meets the carefree fun of summer. Every summer, it draws people—families, friends, and even those seeking a moment of solitude. For some, it's a place to laugh and enjoy the rides at Luna Park, while for others, it's a quiet space to think, reflect, and recharge.
I’ve always been drawn to the way Coney Island offers both a sense of community and a chance for personal reflection. It’s a place where you can be part of a crowd but also find peace by the water, just watching the waves or sitting in the quiet of the early morning. I try to capture this balance—the joy of being with others and the serenity that comes with being alone in a busy world.
Coney Island, to me, is more than just a popular destination. It’s a space where everyone can find what they need, whether it’s connection, fun, or solitude. That’s the energy I want to bring into my work—inviting people to pause, be present, and embrace the simple moments that make life feel complete.
